Research Thesis

This research project measured the impact of using wellbeing interventions on the wellbeing, engagement, and imaginative quality of artwork produced by students in an art classroom in a DEIS school. The interventions improved the engagement, concentration, and innovation of students. There was only a small improvement in the imaginative quality of the artwork produced. The need for ongoing wellbeing practices, personalized differentiated wellbeing interventions, and wellbeing training plus support for teachers was revealed.
